Overview

QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population within a dynamic clinical environment.

 

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing individualized care plans, and providing a full range of nursing services, including medication administration, treatments, and patient education. This role requires strong clinical judgment to prioritize care, respond to urgent or emergent situations, and support complex diagnostic procedures.


Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, the RN will help ensure safe, effective care while promoting positive patient outcomes. Additionally, this position contributes to a supportive work environment by mentoring staff, upholding clinical standards, and enhancing both patient and team satisfaction.

  • Duty Location: William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Ft. Bliss, TX (Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic). No Telework allowed.
  • Duty Hours: Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1630. 

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

Core Duties: A Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective patient care across a range of needs and conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients and carrying out care plans using sound clinical judgment.
  • Monitoring, recording, and reporting patient conditions accurately.
  • Administering medications and treatments following established procedures.
  • Identifying and responding to patient needs, including education for patients and families.
  • Recognizing emergencies and initiating appropriate interventions with medical support.
  • Assisting with complex diagnostic tests and specialized procedures.
  • Supporting and training peers and staff on policies and best practices.
  • Promoting a positive, collaborative healthcare environment to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree/Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Experience: One year of experience within the last two years as a registered nurse.
  • Legal Authorization to Work in the United States: The contract worker performing under this contract must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Licensure: Contract workers requiring Registered Nurse (RN) licensure shall have and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license specific to the position (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) in one of the 50 US States and/or territories. Additional licenses held by a provider must be in good standing whether they are inactive, expired, or limit the provider’s practice to a military 14 of 23 MQS2-NG Task Order Template Type I Configuration as of 12 Feb 25 setting. The healthcare provider’s license(s) must remain current, valid, and unrestricted throughout the duration of the contract worker performance on the contract. The DHA PM 6025.13, vol 4, is the governing directive for all licensure, registration, and certification.
  • Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Certification cards must display the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Web-based (on-line) classes are not acceptable by the Government.

Physical Demands

  • Contract workers must be capable of lifting overhead 20 pounds, bending repetitively, Twist/turn at waist without restriction, no difficulty grasping/pulling.

Additional Information

  • Occupational Health: The contract worker shall be required to obtain documentation of required physical testing or a report of a physical examination.
  • Tuberculosis Screening: The Contractor ensure contract workers shall be screened for tuberculosis (TB). In addition, contract worker will be screened prior to reporting for services at the place of performance for the following: N/A
  • Health Requirements. The Contractor shall provide documentation certifying health requirements such as immunizations, annual vaccinations, and physical examination when required at the time of initial placement.
